This graph shows the number of people directly and indirectly employed by the tourism industry. The data originate from the Linked Employer-Employee Data (LEED) annual statistics, where each person is allocated to the industry they have generated the most earnings from in a tax year. The data are also part of the Tourism Satellite Account produced by Statistics NZ. The data are available from Infoshare [under Tourism].
